SynoExA is a program for kinetic analysis of neurotransmitter release from synapses, stained with activity-dependent fluorescent probes. It analyzes the decay or the increase of brightness from active synapses, processes input data and classifies synaptic subtypes. The program uses spot-distribution data from ImageStar, a program that finds fluorescent spots and prepares stores their positions and brightness kinetics in files.
